Hot Kitchen Chef & Pastry Kitchen Chef, Junior Positions Now Available


There are currently two positions available at the Chefs Academy. Both are for chefs. In both hot kitchen and pastry kitchen, positions have opened up for Junior Sous Chefs. Successful applicants will require the following:
  • A qualification from a recognised and accredited culinary training institution
  • No less than 5 years in the industry since qualifying
  • A good knowledge of current food trends
  • A genuine desire to train and be trained
  • A passion for research, and the creativity to contribute to menu design and planning
  • Good skills, and the ability follow out orders with a minimum of management and fuss
  • The ability and desire to lecture from time to time if required

Sales & Marketing

  • 8 years in sales minimum
