Block Release Programme

It is now possible to acquire your Prue Leith Diploma in Culinary Studies and City&Guilds Qualifications in block release format or complete a modular block that suits your current position.

This modular course is offered on Saturdays (and on one occasion a Tuesday and Wednesday for First Aid training) at Prue Leith Chefs Academy, Centurion. It will be delivered concurrently with the Diploma in Culinary Studies part time classes.

The course offers classic French training in hot, cold and pastry kitchens as well as specialist subjects in finance, first aid, fire, and kitchen design and management.

The course is designed for candidates working in the hospitality industry who would like to achieve a formal qualification.

Prue Leith Chefs Academy will issue a list of credits once each module is completed so the candidate can work towards a City&Guilds IVQ in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts (7065) if they choose to do so. The curriculum is designed and delivered by chefs specializing in their field with dedication and passion.
