Certificate in Sugarcraft

For sugarcraft enthusiasts and culinary students.
This course is designed for those looking to develop their skills in cake decorating and sugarcraft. The qualification is suited to those who would like to begin a new business or for culinary students who would like to develop their pastry skills.

On completion of this course candidates can further their specialist studies by enrolling for the Advanced Certificate in Sugar Craft.

Cost

  • R5250.00 incl. VAT

This fee includes tuition fees, curriculum notes, equipment pack, 1kg Persipan, 5kg sugar paste; Prue Leith apron. Does NOT include ingredients for the fruit cake and sponge cake or any cake design items, i.e. ribbons, or additional design elements that the candidate wishes to add to their cakes.

Dress Code (General Public)
We require that you wear closed non-slip shoes to avoid slipping.You do not need to wear a chef’s jacket. For hygienic reasons we would like to request the following: hair tied up, no make-up, short nails and no jewellery.

Dress as per Prue Leith rules: full chef uniform, hair tied up, no make-up, short nails & no jewellery.
