This Diploma in Culinary Studies is delivered part time at the Academy. The course offers classic French training in hot, cold and pastry kitchens and specialist subjects – finance and kitchen management. There are no wine studies in this course and practical experience can be gained by working shifts in our restaurant kitchen (obligatory, minimum 15 shifts).
This course is aimed at those who are already working in the industry and have a degree of kitchen discipline, but wish to further their skills. It is not for hobby cooks.
City & Guilds IVQ in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts (7065) are written alongside our examinations so that the student can achieve national framework recognition. The lecturing team are specialists in their fields and deliver this highly sought after qualification with passion and dedication.
