100% Pass Rate
We are proud to announce that all our students received competency in their City&Guilds theoretical examinations written in June. Well done from the staff at the Academy on your 100% pass rate. Last year the Academy received it’s City&Guilds Centre Approval.
Our association with City&Guilds only strengthens our position in South African culinary training and provides the student a vocational qualification that is listed on the South African national qualification framework. The qualification is a great addition to the full time Grande Diploma in Culinary Studies and Wine and in 2010 the part time Diploma in Culinary Studies.
The Academy did not waste any time enrolling all our students on the various qualifications that pertained to there level of training. The qualifications were Certificate in Food preparation and cooking principles 1, Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) Principles 2 and Patisserie Principles. The students now need to achieve there practical competency through ongoing assessment at the Academy.
