Covering iced products from sorbets, granita, fruit ices and parfait; be equipped to cool off come summer with an array of homemade frozen treats.

  • Course Content

    • The theory of iced desserts, why too much sugar will give you a syrup and too little a flavoured ice block.
    • Comprehension of ingredient functions
    • An array of funky flavour opportunities
    • Churned and shaved ices, granite’s, and sorbets
    • The amazing parfait, delicious homemade ice cream without an ice cream machine.
    • Delicious toppings, sauces and garnishes to set your next dinner apart!
    • Demonstration of three basic ice creams, granite and parfaits, including presentation and styling suggestions.

  • Dress Code

    You will be working in a professional kitchen, so wear comfortable shoes and keep jewelry and make-up to a minimum and hair tied back. An apron will be preferable.
