TEAMBUILDING DETAILS

• Cost: R380.00 Per Person

BRIEF

• Method of cooking is by fire only, no gas may be used.
• Each team must design a camp with chairs, banners with team names, radios for traditional music etc to add character to their site.
• You are required to make 1 potjie in a size 3 pot from either oxtail or lamb knuckle, 1 vegetable potjie and 1 starch potjie.
• Service of your potjie meal will be at 13h00 or if an afternoon event at 19h00.
• A demonstration on how to make your own boerewors will be delivered while the potjies are cooking. The boerewors will be braaied and enjoyed with the rest of the meal.
• The academy will provide recipes, ingredients, coal, firelighters, matches, wood, grills, tables and chairs for lunch, cutlery and crockery.

TEAMBUILDING OVERVIEW

Delegates are divided into groups of five. Each team has to choose a colour for their team and create a unique design on there chefs hat which will be provided to the delegates before the teambuilding.

When the teams arrive at Prue Leith Chefs Academy we will provide all the recipes, debrief the teams and then fires need to be made.

The food preparation will then begin in our kitchens and each team will be provided one student chef. Cooking time is 3 hours which allows for team building activities or meetings to occur.

When the time comes for seasoning the potjies, your delegates will present there potjies as a buffet and the meal can be enjoyed in the restaurant.
