• Course Overview

A low carb or Low GI (Glycemic Index) diet is generally prescribed to people suffering from diabetes. In this course, we will introduce you to the low carb and Low GI concept and introduce you to the ingredients to celebrate and avoid, but most importantly we will be turning them all into delicious Low GI meals that won’t leave you feeling deprived!

    * Prue Leith Culinary Institute and the staff at our culinary school are not health or nutrition practitioners, and do not promote specific diets, we rather offer delicious recipes for people who have been advised to follow certain diets. Where we do refer to specific guidelines, we follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization.
