Other than our highly reputed curriculum, the Prue Leith Chefs Academy is also known for our luxury restaurant. Proudly named Prue Leith’s, our restaurant was also voted as one of the top 100 in the country.
The chef courses at our Academy have been developed with the industry in mind which is why our full time curriculum consists of both theoretical and practical training. Our all professional lecturers are experts in their individual culinary fields and have many years of experience behind them. All of our students are supplied with high quality ingredients from around the world so that they may experiment with a wide variety of local and international flavours such as Belgian chocolates, Italian truffles, foie gras, French frogs’ legs and Iranian Caviar. Our full time students also undergo an extensive finance module which is delivered to them directly by a professional Chartered Accountant, demonstrating to them the important business aspects of working in a top restaurant.
Since opening our doors to aspiring chefs in 1997, many of our students have gone on to work in top restaurants around the world under celebrity chefs like Jamie Oliver. Our full time students gain much of their practical experience at our onsite luxury restaurant, where under the watchful eyes of our professionals chefs, they do all the cooking.
