Prue Leith’s Range of Professional Cooking Lessons

 For ease of purpose, clarity, and your convenience, we have divided our range of professional cooking lessons at Prue Leith Chefs Academy into four main course categories that cover the needs of all types of professional chefs and amateur cooks at all the levels of competence and interest already mentioned above.

Six Full-Time Courses (Professional Chefs):

 Occupational Certificate: Chef – the latest addition to our full-time professional cooking courses.

  • ALMA “Professional Chef of Italian Cuisine” – a first in the South African chefs’ tradition. Some lessons are presented in this country and the rest in Italy.
  • Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts.
  • Diploma in Patisserie – either six months or 12 months in duration.

Three Post-Graduate Courses (Professional Chefs):

 Diploma in Patisserie.

  • ALMA “Professional Chef of Italian Cuisine” – Qualified Chefs.
  • Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts.

Two Part-Time Courses (Professional Chefs):

 Diploma in Food Preparation & Culinary Arts.

  • Diploma in Patisserie.

 Twenty Superb Short Courses (Open to All):

 Kitchens of the World – visit the tables and palates of four nations and food cultures.

  • WSET Level 1 Wine.
  • Valentine’s Couples Cooking – lesson for couples, offered only during early to mid-February 2018.
