Our high quality curriculum consists of both theoretical and practical chef training, all of which is delivered by our team of professional lecturers who are all specialists in their individual fields. Students are given high quality ingredients to experiment with from around the globe from Belgian chocolates and Italian truffles to French frog’s legs and Iranian Caviar. This is so that when our students go on to work in top restaurants, they will have been exposed to five star ingredients. Many of our students have gone on to work in celebrity kitchens around the globe under chefs like Gordon Ramsay, the Roux brothers and Jamie Oliver. Our graduates are highly sought after in the industry and one of our proudest accolades is the regular ‘Prue Leith graduates only’ job adverts in the classifieds.
At the academy our students are also given the opportunity to put their cooking skills to the test in our fully equipped demonstration kitchen, which is also home to our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s. Voted as one of the top 100 restaurants in the country it comes as no surprise that we are known to receive bookings well in advance from customers who reside both locally and abroad.
