Our chefs college provides cutting-edge training across three kitchens:

  • Training Kitchen – equipped with 20 state-of-the-art cooking stations. Each station comprises Electrolux Professional gas hobs, prep basin with hot and cold water, portion scale, induction cooker, undercounter fridge, KitchenAid Mixer, and a full set of small equipment, pots, and pans.
  • Patisserie Kitchen – equipped with 10 dedicated stations. They all have TechniStone® tops, induction cookers, gas hobs, portion scales, KitchenAid Mixer, and full sets of small equipment, pots and pans, and adequately air-conditioned for pastry work.
  • Restaurant Kitchen – the kitchen at The Prue Leith Restaurant is divided into a Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, and Pastry Kitchen allowing for high levels of concentration under the watchful eye of the academy’s chef lecturers.

Our theory lectures, exams, and special events take place in one of two spacious 40-seater lecture rooms, both of which are fully equipped with audio and visual suites, as well as full Wi-Fi connectivity. We also boast a student library that carries the latest publications dedicated to culinary knowledge both old and new, as well as subscriptions to some of the world’s foremost magazines and journals and multimedia options, such as gastronomic TV series and instructional content.
