The practical aspects also include our on-site fine dining restaurant, Prue Leith’s restaurant. As the students begin their 18 month training at the college, they become involved in both the front- and back-of-house operations of the restaurant.
Though Prue Leith’s Restaurant is a training restaurant, it has made its culinary mark, competing with other top restaurants in Gauteng. It is ranked top ten in Gauteng by the Business Day and continues to win awards for the superior cuisine, carefully selected wines and silver service.
When preparing meals for the restaurant the college students are encouraged to be creative and explore, while always using the finest of ingredients. Hence our patrons anticipate exciting menu changes in order to showcase our young talent.

Practical training reaches beyond the restaurant to include Prue Leith Catering, our fine dining off-site catering company.
