Fine Dining Johannesburg

Since our establishment in 1997, our academy has trained many aspiring chefs who have gone on to work in top restaurants around the world under the likes of celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay and the Roux brothers. Unlike other chefs training institutions in South Africa, our full time curriculum includes an in depth finance module which is delivered directly to our students directly by a Chartered Accountant. This is to further train our students in the importance of effective menu costings, accurate profit percentages and the maintenance of a stock management system. During this module students are also required to team up and put together a business plan after which many have gone on to successfully implement themselves after graduating.

When it comes to the food side of our curriculum, we provide our students with top local and international ingredients to experiment with. Students can then put their skills to the test in our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s, which is also popular in Johannesburg for fine dining amongst locals.
