Chef School

Our chef school has a mix of aspiring students, expert lecturers and a high quality which is one of the reasons why our students are continuously sought after in the culinary industry. Students at the Prue Leith Chefs Academy are introduced to both the theoretical and practical sides of working in a professional kitchen. All of our courses include a variety of five star recipes for students to learn as well as modules focussing on service and the financial elements of working in a restaurant. We are also the only school of our kind in the country to have our in depth finance module delivered to our students directly by a professional Chartered Accountant.

This teaches our students the importance of effective stock management, accurate profit percentages and menu costings. As part of this module students are also required to team up and put together a business plan, after which many have gone on to successfully implement themselves.
