Cooking Lesson

The Prue Leith Chefs Academy is rated as one of the top chef training institutions in the country. Other than their high quality curriculum, they also regularly open their doors to a number of teambuilding activities which offer corporate teams the option of either a cooking lesson or a culinary evening, both of which are ideal for improving the productivity and moral of a business team.

When opting for the cooking lesson option, teams have two choices. The first is our Kitchens of the World option which involves teams pairing up to prepare a traditional feast from a specific region around the world. The second is our Potjiekos Teambuilding option which has everyone chipping in to prepare this truly South African dish. Our other two other options are the Wine & Poetry Evening which encourages each individual in the team to bring along a poem to share while our Method Cap Classic Sparkling Wine & Dessert Evening sees our academy‘s very own pastry department serving up six delicious desserts with complimentary wines.

The teambuilding venues at the Prue Leith Chefs Academy include the Chef Studio with its spacious kitchen area and large wooden table, ideal for teambuilding tastings. The second venue is the academy’s onsite fully equipped demonstration kitchen, which also doubles up as our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s.
