Our curriculum consists of theoretical and practical training delivered by our team of expert lecturers who are all specialists in their individual fields.
Since opening our doors in 1997, the academy’s cooking training courses have been the start for many aspiring chefs who have gone on to work in famous kitchens around the world. Our graduates are highly sought after in the industry with one of our proudest accolades being the regular ‘Prue Leith graduates only’ job adverts in the classifieds. All the students at the academy are given only the best quality of ingredients to experiment with. From Belgian couverture chocolate to French frog’s legs, students are guaranteed to graduate with a full understanding of five star ingredients to prepare them for their career in a five star kitchen.
The academy is also home to Prue Leiths which was not only voted as one of the top 100 restaurants in the country, but is also were our students put their cooking skills to the test. Prue Leiths is run as a full working kitchen were it is our students who, under the watchful eyes of our expert chefs, do the cooking. We often have bookings made well in advance from customers both locally and abroad to guarantee their table at Prue Leiths which is proof that our students are doing an excellent job.
