Culinary Arts

Since opening our doors in 1997 we have trained many students who have gone on to work in in famous kitchens around the world for celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay, the Roux brothers and Jamie Oliver

Our full time culinary arts curriculum trains our students how to cook using the classical French method as well as how to run the financial side of a restaurant. As part of the in-depth finance module, students are also required to put together a business plan which many of our students have gone on to implement themselves after graduating. We are also the only chef training institute of our kind in the country where this module is delivered directly by a Chartered Accountant. When it comes to cooking, students are given only the highest quality of ingredients to experiment with such as French frogs legs, Iranian caviar and Italian truffles, to name only a few. This allows them to grasp the unique tastes and textures of five star ingredients so that when they go on to work in five star restaurants around the world, they will be familiar with 5 star ingredients.

Students at our academy are able to practice their skills in our fully equipped demonstration kitchen and onsite restaurant, Prue Leiths, which was voted as one of the top 100 restaurants in the country.

If you would like to find out more about our range culinary arts qualifications at the Prue Leith Chefs Academy or if you would like to book a table at our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s, please do not hesitate to contact us today.
