Since opening our doors in 1997, our academy has trained many aspiring students into world-class chefs who now work in famous kitchens around the globe under chefs like Gordon Ramsay, the Roux brothers and Jamie Oliver.
All of our courses were designed with the industry in mind and are delivered by experience lecturers who are all experts in their individual culinary fields. After graduation, our students are highly sought after in the industry with ‘Prue Leith graduates only’ job adverts making a regular appearance in the classifieds. Our full time curriculum is made up with a combination theoretical and practical training to ensure that our students are fully equipped in all aspects of working as a chef. All of our students are supplied with only the best quality of ingredients available to experiment with in their fine dining classes. This also allows them to get some first hand experience with the various textures and flavours that they will come into daily contact during their career at a five star restaurant.
Our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s, was voted as one of the top 100 restaurants in South Africa. It is our students who take over in the kitchen under the watchful eyes of our expert chefs.
