Our students are offered an inclusive curriculum which covers both the practical and theoretical side food preparation and cooking.
Our full time curriculum is based on the classical French method style of cooking in order to give our students a full understanding of food preparation and cooking. We supply our students with only the finest quality of local and international ingredients to experiment with as we believe that in order to prepare them for a career in a five star restaurant, we need to familiarise them with five star textures and tastes. Students are also trained in the financial running’s of a top restaurant with our finance module covering all the important aspects of stock management, menu costings and profit percentages. We are also the only school of our kind in the country where this module is delivered directly to our students by a professional Chartered Accountant.
To keep inline with industry standards we constantly monitor and improve our course material. As a result our students remain highly sought after in the industry with ’Prue Leith graduates only’ job adverts making a regular appearance in the classifieds.
