Our high quality curriculum consists of a combination of both theoretical and practical experience to ensure that they cover all aspects of working in a professional kitchen.
Not only do our students receive a high quality education but are also given high quality ingredients to cook with during their culinary studies. Our curriculum is based on the classical French method and from Iranian caviar to French frogs legs and Belgian couverture chocolate, our students have the opportunity to experiment with various local and international tastes and flavours. At the Prue Leith Chefs Academy we also include an in-depth finance module as part of our full time curriculum and are in fact the only chefs school of our kind in South Africa were this finance module is taught by Chartered Accountants.
Part of this module requires students to put together a business plan and has even resulted in some of our graduates going on to successfully implement their business plans and embark on a business venture of their own.
