Evening Cooking Course

As well as our full time curriculum, we also offer a range of part time and evening cooking course options for fellow food enthusiasts to enjoy.

All of our students are trained with only the finest ingredients and each of our lecturers are experts in their individual fields. Full time students are trained in both the theoretical and practical areas required when working in a professional kitchen while part time and evening students are given a range of different courses to choose from. One of our popular evening cooking course options is our Kitchens of the World class. Attendees can choose from one of three ,meal options, these are the Sicilian kitchen option, the Moghul kitchen option and the Maghreb kitchen option. Whichever you decide to choose, you will be taught how to cook a range of different traditional dishes true to their origin.

The kinds of Sicilian dishes you will learn to perfect include stuffed calamari, octopus in red wine and a bread soup. Moghul kitchen dishes consist of dishes such as a lamb curry from Afghanistan, red kidney bean salad and a Bengali sweet tomato curry. The Maghreb kitchen course content includes traditional Algerian couscous, spicy Tunisian chickpeas and Moroccan chicken tagine with lemon preserve. The academy’s other range of cooking classes include bread making, chocolate decoration, pastry and baking as well as on how to create the perfect dinner party menu.
