We are proud of our reputation as one of the top chef training institutions in the country and both our full time and part time cooking courses are delivered by lecturers who are experts in their individual fields. Students receive only the best ingredients to experiment with from Belgian couverture chocolate and Italian truffles to Iranian caviar and French frog’s legs. We believe that in order to prepare our students for a career in a five star kitchen, we need to expose them to five star ingredients. Once they are familiar with the various flavours and textures part time students will practice their skills in the Prue Leith Chefs Studio where it will be their duty to wow 12 guests at the chefs table with their fine dining skills.
Full time students on the other hand put their newly learned skills to the test in our fully equipped demonstration kitchen which is also home to our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s. Voted as one of the top 100 restaurants in the country it is our students who do the cooking under the watchful eyes of our professional chefs.
