Pastry Chef Course

Our pastry chef course includes a range of dish options ideal for anyone with a sweet tooth. Our pastry and baking course gives you the choice of learning how to make either muffins, decadent chocolate desserts, Parisian macaroons, gourmet cupcakes, French tarts or choux pastry. If you’re more savoury then sweet you could always opt for one of our other popular courses such as our Dinner Party Menu class. This consists of four menu options with a choice of either learning to master a vegetarian, fish, chicken or beef dish. Whichever option you choose, you will learn to make a three course meal together with a canapé, as well as receive a complimentary glass of wine with each course.

Our other range of short courses includes chocolate decorating, dishes from kitchens of the world and technique workshops for those who would like to learn some of the tricks of the trade. Our full time students are trained in the classic French methods of hot and cold food, pastries, traditional Pan African cuisine and also do a course on Cape Wines. They are delivered their finance module directly by Chartered Accountants, making us the only cooking school to do so in the country.
