Restaurant Food

At the Prue Leith Chefs Academy, our students are given training in a wide range of culinary areas to ensure that they have a good understanding of what it takes to become a successful chef. Since our establishment in 1997, we have taught many students who have gone on to work as top chefs in well known restaurants around the world under celebrities such as Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver. Our full time curriculum also includes an in depth finance module which is delivered directly to our students by a Chartered Accountant. This module demonstrates to our students the importance of effective menu costings, accurate profit percentages and the maintenance of a stock management system.

When it comes to the food side of our curriculum, we provide our students with only the best local and international ingredients to experiment with. Our students will then go on to work in Prue Leith’s where, under the watchful eyes of our experienced chefs, they will prepare all the restaurant food.
