Our part time Diploma in Culinary Studies at the Prue Leith Chefs Academy includes a range of culinary classes which include modules such as hot and cold kitchens to pastry and finance. The duration of the course is 12 months, giving students the convenience of studying and working at the same time. Students are given only the best ingredients to use in their cooking classes, allowing them to create meals that are both delicious to taste and visually appealing too. Their cooking skills are then put to the test in our fully equipped demonstration kitchen which is also our onsite restaurant, Prue Leith’s. Voted as one of the top 100 restaurants in South Africa, it is our students who are left to impress the diners with their newly acquired culinary abilities.
Our restaurant in Johannesburg is also ideal for teambuilding activities which can help lift staff moral and improve business effectiveness. The various options available for such events include our kitchens of the world menu feasts, potjiekos teambuilding, wine and poetry evenings as well as a pastry and wine evening.
